North Cape Escape

Excellent beach house for our family!
We booked this property for fall break (early Oct) and it was absolutely wonderful. The Cape San Blas area is quiet and secluded. This rental is in a great location near the main gate of St Joseph Peninsula State Park. The house sits off the beach, but has a private gravel path to the boardwalk over to the beach. The pool is intelligently located to allow the water to get warmed up by the sun daily. The pool deck has sufficient room and also includes an outdoor shower, grill and hose to wash off sandy toes. Both the front and back of the house have decks/balconies on the main and 2nd floors. There is a small fenced area for your fury friends to do their business. The main floor has a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, living area, laundry room, and kitchen/dining area. The 2nd floor features another bedroom with ensuite bathroom, two bedrooms with shared bathroom, and a small living space with pull out couch. The house was wonderful, the Cape is beautiful, and the communiity is full of active, friendly residents. This was a great choice for our family vacation.

The rental management company was great. Good communication and really took care of our needs during our stay. Fully recommend !

Perfect Family Getaway – Pool, Kitchen, and Sunset Views
Overall clean & updated home with nice beach size! During our stay the pool stayed cool the entire time, and they cleaned it 2x during our trip which was nice. The walk is a decent walk to the beach (maybe .25 of a mile/maybe 5 min walk) & the board walk was not wheelchair accessible (stairs to get onto the beach) which was a little bit inconvenient for carts. However there is a place you can park your truck at the boardwalk to go back and forth - so it truly wasn’t terrible (we just had an 8 month old with us that made the process a little rough) You can see some of the ocean from the 2nd floor & beautiful views of the sunset. The kitchen was well stocked & had all the items you needed for cooking. Plenty of towels (beach and bath). The host was very responsive & always attentive to anything we needed during and before our stay.

Perfect Family Getaway – Pool, Beach, and Dog-Friendly Yard
This was our second trip to the area and I’m glad we found this place. The pool was used more than any other activity. With a short walk to the beach, we got our fair share of sand! The correspondence was better than other houses we had got for the week. The house is new and well done with ample room for 8 people (we had 6). Actually it’s pretty neat with a fenced in yard for the dog. Overall this is a great place for you and your family!

Great Trip – Pool, Beach Access, and Comfortable Home

Lovely Decor, Great Location, and Highly Recommended
Good location. Walkable to beach. Clean and nice. Would stay again. Not a complaint but just saying the view to the beach is not as clear and unobstructed as the picture shows. Maybe update those pictures. But the house was clean and so pretty. Love the color scheme and decorations. They checked in and made sure check in went well and messaged us to insure we were good. We had no problems with anything. Attentive and would rent this house again. Beautiful area. Great hosts. Good prices. Definitely recommend.

Family + Pup Approved Vacation Spot
My family had a fabulous time at Kam’s place! It was just what we needed to take a week to relax and unwind at the nearby beach and private pool. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen which had really nice cookware, knives, etc. Kam was quick to respond to our requests before, during and after our stay. Our pup loved the nice food and water bowls, as well as sunbathing on the spacious porch. We will definitely stay here again!

Beach Bliss Just Steps Away!
Excellent stay- walkable distance to the beach. Wasn’t too crowded even tho we were there in July. We enjoyed the pool. We were there during the busy season and restaurants filled up fast. If you want to get a seat or not wait long, I suggest getting there at 5:30. Some restaurants were turning people away. A lot of restaurants close at 9pm. This wouldn’t deter me from staying there again. They have a Piggly Wiggly which came in handy.

Relaxing Family Escape with Beach Access and Pool
This house was perfect for my family of three!! The walk to the beach wasn’t bad. You cross over a little boardwalk and it is a little steep going down because it sits on top of a dune. There was hardly anyone on the beach, so we felt like we had it to ourselves. The pool was great! Our three year old loved the pool. The tanning ledge was his favorite because he was able to sit in the water and splash around!

Amazing place
We enjoyed the private pool and we could make the walk to the beach in 5 minutes with our 5 young kids. Kam was quick to respond to any questions I had! The selection of games in the living room was great, washer and dryer work well, and both bathrooms were very nice.

Amazing stay
The house was what we were needed; private, walkable to the beach, has a pool, and ample room for us to spread out. It is right next to a FL State park that has a couple of trails and places to bike. Right outside of the drive way we saw a deer with antlers and other deer as we biked around. Several times we went to the beach and it was just me and my family. There were other times were people were fishing next to us, but they were still 50-60 feet away. House was set up well with lots of light and seating. The front porch was my favorite part, much bigger then the pictures make it appear. I sat on the front porch while my kids jumped in and out of the pool. I would rent it again, but bring a fishing pole with me next time.

Amazing spot
Amazing spot. If you’ve never stayed on the cape - I don’t think it gets better than this location wise. A magical spot and super dog friendly which was why we choose it! Everything was spotless and perfect! Couldn’t be happier!

Great palce
The house worked well for us; nice to have a pool and also be close to the beach. We ate in for all our meals and the kitchen was well supplied for cooking. It was a great getaway for us. Try the ice cream at the Sugar Shack!

Amazing place
We really enjoyed our stay at the cape! It was really nice being such a short walk to the beach, and having a private pool was wonderful! The kids really enjoyed the board games, puzzles, and cards! The house had comfortable beds, & plenty of space for our family. The kitchen had ample equipment for cooking meals at home, but also there are restaurants in walkable distance. We enjoyed biking in the state park, which is very close to the house. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunsets! This was one of our best vacations to date!
